This books's a treat if you like faeires mixed with your romance. Ten stories brimming with exuberant love of life, the author’s wonderful imagination, and best of all each features its own faery. And Keely, faery of the Rainbow Clan, debut in the No Law Against Love anthology by Highland Press. The stories span the ages, beginning in 1199, ending in the future, Shortly after the Frozen Time. The author did her research; the stories flowed no matter what era was written. Sometimes the faeries were male, or the love interest was human, but all were special. Keely appears in all, starring in the final story, my favorite. Each story is connected, which you don’t realize until near the end. I liked that. I also liked how the author created different clans of faeries, giving just enough information to whet our appetite for more. I’d love for the author to write a full novel, or novels, chock full of her faeries, learning more about their clans, their lives, their loves.
Treat yourself to an absolutely delightful collection of stories from a bright new author who will make you laugh, and cry with stories both funny and poignant. I for one loved each and every one.
Keely finally found the man of her dreams, and surprise of surprises her dream man, Tyler has close ties to one of the original stories (my lips are sealed!) Believe me when I say, this entire volume has a delightful collection of stories! This impressive author took the concept of the young faery Keely and brought her through the ages (Faeries live thousands of years, don’t cha know!) from pesky adolescent to adulthood. In each story she is sometimes charming, sometimes bossy, but always amusing in her antics and smart aleck dialogs. Quite charming you will learn a lot about faery life from this wonderfully conceived and precious collection of short stories that will entertain you from the first to last page!

Some broad with wings and named Keely called me up and insisted I must review `her book', so here I am. The book Faery Special Romances one might categorize it as "Faerytales", yet this is not nursery rhyme style stories. They are funny, adult (as in grown up not as in `adult' material), stories that display Rogers' own brand of whimsy and incisively funny quirkiness. Keely first appeared on the scene a year ago in "Faery Good Advice" from No Law Against Love anthology, and it was soon seen there would be no holding her down. To her own blog and now Bebo sites, Keely is a lass on the rise! Now you get to know this sassy faery special dispenser of romantic advice. So if you are looking for a delightful book that could tickle your funny bone, try this romp through history. It even has naughty bits!! The book's royalties will be donated to The Children's Tumor Foundation to help raise awareness and bucks for neurofibromatosis. A very special book for a very worthy cause.
